Fettburg Midsummer Feast & Rapier Tournament

Saturday August 3rd, 2019
Manteca, California

Baron Konrad and Baroness Clarice invite the populace to celebrate our Midsummer Feast and Rapier Tournament on August 3, 2019! Cynagua’s only indoor summer tournament will be held during the feast. Show off your skill, have fun, and stay cool. The annual Bard of Fettburg competition will also be held.

The theme of this year's event will be the Wild Hunt. Wild Hunts typically involve a ghostly or supernatural group of hunters passing in wild pursuit - a phantasmal leader, accompanied by a horde of hounds and men, hurtled through the night sky, their passing marked by a tumultuous racket of pounding hooves, howling dogs and raging winds. People encountering the Hunt might also be abducted to the underworld or the fairy kingdom. Tales of the Wild Hunt are found throughout Northern, Western and Central Europe.

The second annual Fettburg Iron Artisan Competition will be held. What is the Iron Artisan Competition, you ask? You will choose a mystery bag full of goodies from which you must create an Arts/Science project! You will be given a set time frame to complete the project during the event. Projects will be displayed during Court. Winner to be announced during Court. Bring your creativity and some imagination! No crafting skills required! Come learn a new talent and show off your amazing abilities!

Feast Served at 5:30 pm. The menu for the Feast shall be posted on the Fettburg Face book page
